The Mobilizing Youth Summit (MYSummit) is an annual convening that empowers young people, ages 15–19, across the Southern United States to engage in policy, leadership, advocacy, and organizing. The MYSummit aims to inspire youth to drive civic engagement and community change through experiential learning and public service.

 

Through this Request for Applications, THMS will award funding to up to eight (8) youth-serving organizations from Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee. As a partner organization, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and transporting 15-30 young people from your community or region to participate in the 1.5-day event. Eligible partner organizations include nonprofit, for-profit, or fiscally sponsored organizations serving the five-state area (e.g., Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee), with priority given to groups with existing youth leadership programs and a demonstrated commitment to engaging diverse rural youth.
